WELCOME TO THE ANIMAL MINISTRY OF MOUNTAIN VIEW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Being a community minded church for the benefit of humanity, animals and our earth, our Animal Ministry was formed to help each other through love and challenges with our pets and wildlife. We share our animal pictures and experiences about health, behavior, fostering, adoption, grief, and more.

Here are a few things to watch for that will bring love and joy for you and your pets.

Sunday, October 12 from 12 to 1 pm, there will be a blessing for pets of church members and our Teller County community in Memorial Park. Do let your friends and family know as we celebrate Saint Francis’s birthday in this blessing ceremony.

Ongoing 4H projects at the church building, including dog training and preparation for the annual fair in Cripple Creek.

A Teller County community visit to Faithful Hearts Equine Learning Center to learn about Equine Assisted Services. Date to be determined. Stay tuned.

Pet Loss Grief Support Group starting October 14 from 12 – 1 pm. Nature promotes mutualism.
The flower nourishes the bee.

The river waters quench the thirst of all living beings.
And trees provide a welcoming home to so many birds and animals.

There is a rhythm to this togetherness.
